Ekiti Election: Apostle Suleman Reacts, Tackles Nigerian Youths Over Vote Buying

The general overseer of Omega Fires Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman has described some Nigerian youths as looters in training.

The clergyman submitted that not all youths are leaders of tomorrow as their activities do not in any way show their readiness to be real leaders.

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports Suleman made the submission on Monday in his reaction to the reports of vote buying and selling that allegedly featured in Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti State.

It will be recalled that amidst several reports of massive vote buying and selling, Ezenwoko’s Blog reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested an agent of a political party over his plan to buy votes of electorates on Saturday during the governorship election in Ekiti State.

The operatives of the anti-graft agency arrested the alleged vote-buyer with a bag of cash while trying to induce voters.

The party agent was arrested by operatives of the commission at Ola Oluwa Grammar School on Ilawe Road, Ado Ekiti.

In another incident, two Nigerian ladies became internet sensations after allegedly selling their votes during Saturday’s Ekiti State governorship election.

The ladies were seen expressing excitement and flaunting the Naira notes they were given at the polling unit.

Against the backdrop of such reports, Apostle Sulemanha slammed the youths involved, stating that it is obvious such persons are not ready to make Nigeria better.

He wrote: “So in the just concluded Ekiti state election, some youths were selling their votes?..
I have always said it, not all youths are leaders of tomorrow, some are looters in training!.”

The election was won by Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
