‘Dubai Connections, Hushpuppi Strategies’ – APC Chieftain ‘Exposes’ PDP’s Plans To Rig 2023 Election

‘Dubai Connections, Hushpuppi Strategies’ – APC Chieftain ‘Exposes’ PDP’s Plans To Rig 2023 Election

A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Yekini Nabena has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is banking on some unethical practices to tip the 2023 elections in its favour.

According to him, the PDP knows it can’t win the 2023 general elections in a fair contest and is therefore working on using some ‘Dubai connections and Hushpuppi strategies’ to manipulate the process.

He said from the results of recent elections, it is already clear that the PDP is losing ground as the number two party in the country and other parties are fast catching up.

Nabena however added that the APC has discovered the plans of the PDP and won’t allow them to be executed, adding that the major opposition party is no threat to the ruling party’s chances in the 2023 general elections.

Ezenwoko’s Blog understands the APC chieftain made the submissions on Wednesday while addressing newsmen in Abuja, the nation’s capital

“PDP is nothing to talk about as far as the 2023 general election is concerned, although we are watching them keenly based on their past records because we already know their plans and what they are banking on are their Dubai connections and Hushpuppi strategies,” he said.

The APC chieftain added that part of the plans by the PDP is to hack the servers of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and input figures that will favour the party and make it win elections.

He, therefore, called on INEC to take extra steps to protect its servers from hackers.

“The only hope for the PDP is to hack INEC server, not the votes of Nigerians to win election. You can see practically that even the recent governorship election in Ekiti state PDP lost its usual second place and I doubt if it can regain that second position anymore in the coming 2023 general elections.”

“I will plead with INEC to properly secure its server because PDP hackers are at work. They are not sleeping and are test-running their system now. I also call on Nigerians and real voters to be watchful and ensure that their votes are protected in 2023,” Nabena submitted.

However, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba when contacted for a reaction to the allegations, said Nabena is only seeking relevance by giving a lazy opinion.

He added that the APC chieftain is not speaking for the party.

“Why should I be talking with somebody who is expressing his own lazy opinion? It is obvious that he is not speaking for the party. Let the APC spokesperson talk and I will respond to him. He is just looking for relevance,” he was quoted by Punch to have said.
