Court Convicts Baba Ijesha Over Alleged S3xual Assault

Embattled Nollywood comic actor, Olanrewaju James, better known as Baba Ijesha, has been convicted for allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old minor.

Ezenwoko’s Blog recalls that comedienne, Princess had filed a case against Baba Ijesha, accusing him of s3xually assaulting a minor in her custody.

Ruling on the case which has lingered for months now, an Ikeja Special Offences Court on Thursday said it found the actor guilty of some of the charges against him.

Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in a two-hour judgement, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault

The court judge, however, discharged and acquitted the actor of count one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.

Ezenwoko’s Blog understands that the case was stood down for a few minutes for the sentencing of the convict as at reporting time.
