Buhari Meets Tinubu, Masari Behind Closed Door

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State.

Ezenwoko’s Blog understand that the meeting which is behind closed doors is being held at the private residence of President Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.

The former Lagos Governor alongside Governor Masari had earlier arrived at the president’s residence a few minutes after 2 pm to inform him of his chosen running mate.

Tinubu had earlier arrived the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport, Katsina at 1:15pm on Sunday from where he joined Governor Masari for about an hour drive to Daura.

The APC presidential candidate while briefing the press upon his arrival, said Masari has agreed to step down and Former Governor of Borno State, Kassim Shettima is now confirmed as his standard-running-mate.

Ezenwoko’s Blog understands that President Buhari has been in Daura since Friday to celebrate the 2022 Eid-el Kabir festive with his extended family.
