Breaking: Willie Obiano Arrested By EFCC Hours After Handing Over To Soludo

The immediate former governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano has been apprehended by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that the former governor was arrested at the Lagos International Airport few hours after handing over to his successor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

He was reportedly on his way to the United States when he was arrested by the anti-graft agency.

According to Channels TV, Obiano who has been on the agency’s watch list, was taken into arrested at about 8.30pm.
