Bandit Terrorists Raid Katsina Villages, Kill Four
Gunmen suspected to be bandit terrorists have attacked Dugara, Daurawa and Gidan Gadi villages, all in Matazu local Government of Katsina state.
It was gathered that four people lost their lives while many others sustained injuries in the attack.
Residents disclosed that the bandit terrorists carried out the attacks around 10pm on Friday.
Usman Ibrahim, a resident of Yarkirya village, said the bandits invaded the villages with dangerous weapons and destroyed several houses during the attacks, Daily Trust reports.
However, the Katsina State Police Public Relations Officer officer denied knowledge of the attack on the villages.
According to him, the police may not be aware due to the lack of telecommunication network in the area where the incident happened.
He assured to brief the public on the truth or otherwise of the attacks as soon as he confirms.
In other news, the chairman, Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. John Joseph Hayab has confirmed the freedom of at least seventy abducted persons in the state.
The clergyman told newsmen in a statement on Friday that the freed kidnap victims include members of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Kakau Daji, who have whisked away on Sunday, 31st October 2021.

While commending the efforts of traditional rulers and stakeholders in ensuring the release of the victims, Hayab challenged Christians and Nigerians to be prayerful against the insecurity that has brought untold unrest and hardship to the people.
