Asari Dokubo Mocks Peter Obi Over Campaign Rally In Jos

Former militant, Asari Dokubo has mocked the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, over the campaign rally organised in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

Ezenwoko's Blog reported that LP flagged off its campaign on September 28 with a mega rally at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos.

Speaking during a Facebook Live on his page on Monday, Dokubo slammed Obi and his supporters for claiming to have held a 2 million-man match at the Jos Stadium which has a 15 thousand capacity.

The former militant claimed that Obi would not win the 2023 presidential election, saying that the LP flagbearer failed as the governor of Anambra State.

Dokubo however, endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinbu, as the next Nigerian leader.

He went ahead to display some AK-47 rifles, declaring he is not afraid of Obi's supporters.

He said: “Two million-man match in a fifteen thousand capacity stadium? In fifteen thousand capacity stadium and you held a 2 million-man match? You people should stop lying. Why not show us a stadium filled with 15 thousand people, we'll accept it.

“Obi is going nowhere. This your Obi movement is a joke. Presenting Obi as a candidate is what any rational human being should not even think about. Presenting Obi as a candidate, a man who failed in Anambra. Nothing to show for in Anambra and that is the best Igbos can present.

“I feel sorry for Igbos. Anybody who talks you abuse them…you can't abuse me. You can't do me anything. If you come I go pursue you. Me na Tinubu I dey o. Na Tinubu go win this election o. Obi self no go carry third. I be coward? I dey here.

Dokubo Dares Obi To Hold Rally In South East

The former militant challenged the former Governor of Anambra State to hold his campaign rally in the South East on Monday.

Dokubo, therefore, described Obi as a “scam” and tagged his supporters as “criminals”.

He said: “You are going about doing ‘Obidients' in Lagos, in Port Harcourt, in Bauchi, in Kaduna, in Ibadan, but you cannot do ‘Obidient' on Monday in Onitsha, in Awka, even in Obi's liar's village,”

“People are saying that ‘you hate Obi', why will I hate Obi? I know that this man is a conman, is a scam. I know him before now. I have known Obi for more than 30 years. Ask Obi what he was doing in the 80s, at Kalabari, Cross Rivers State.

“There are certain things that are restraining us from coming out and bursting the whole bubble.

“So anybody that I see that is following Obi, I think the person should also be like Obi, a criminal.”
