Anambra: Governor Soludo Makes New Appointments [Full List]

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has appointed three more persons to join his executive cabinet.

Soludo made the appointments known in a statement on Monday by his spokesperson, Joe Anatune.

The governor appointed Ernest Ezeajuyi as his Chief of Staff; AVM Ben Chiobi (Rtd.) as his Special Adviser on Security and Richard Nwora Madiebo as the Chairman, Anambra State Internal Revenue Service.

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that the latest appointments make it a total of six appointments made so far by the governor, having announced three appointments last week Thursday.

Recall that Soludo had appointed Solo Osita Chukwulobelu as the Secretary to the State Government; Dr. Sir Chukwudi Okoli, Accountant General; Chinedu Nwoye, Deputy Chief Of Staff/State Chief of Protocol.

The governor had also promised to send the list of his commissioners to the House of Assembly next week.

Meanwhile, Soludo has said that inmates in Anambra prisons will soon have access to news and events about Nigeria and the rest of the world.

This is coming after Soludo paid a visit to Ekwulobia Prison on Sunday.

Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) officials led him on a tour of the facility to see the present condition during his visit.

The governor explained that he had a chat with the inmates, wardens and assured them that a new system will be set up.
