Nigerian Law Students Allege NYSC Blocking Exit Ahead Of March Call To The Bar Ceremony
Students of the Nigerian Law School (NLS) have raised alarm over the alleged refusal by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to grant them exit passes from orientation camps nationwide.
They are scheduled for the call to bar screening, which requires their departure from camps starting on February 19th. However, reports suggest that the NYSC has refused to issue passes, despite the upcoming NLS program.
This has raised concerns among students who are worried about potentially missing the final March call to bar ceremony. One aggrieved candidate suggested she would rather accept demobilization than forfeit the upcoming call.
