Plateau Assembly speaker, deputy resign

The member representing Pankshin North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Gabriel Dawang, on Tuesday emerged the new Speaker.

His emergence followed the resignation of the former Speaker, Moses Sule, and his deputy, Gwottaon Fom.

Timothy Dantong, representing Riyom constituency, also emerged as the new Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
