Oyebanji, others celebrate Oba Adewale at 70

Several dignitaries including the governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, was present when the Owa Ajero of Ijero Kingdom, Oba Joseph Adewale, celebrated his 70th birthday on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in Ekiti State.

A thanksgiving service was held at Christ Church Cathedral, Ijero, Ekiti State, in his honour where he appealed to members of the congregation to contribute to the growth and development of the cathedral. Among the personalities present was the state police commissioner, Ogundare Emmanuel.

After the thanksgiving, a reception was held at the Ajero Palace. The arrival of the king in his second attire was accompanied by other members of the royal family and chiefs. Due to the love the host has for classical music, there was a performance by the orchestras of the Apostlic Faith Church from Ijero, Eyio Ekiti, Ado Ekiti and Igede Ekiti.

Oba Adewale was presented with gifts from guests before he took pictures with his wives and children.
