New Zealand Skilled Migrants & Residence Works Category Application Update. The New Zealand Immigration department has written to skilled migrants and residence workers. This was contained in a memo published by Nga Milhi for New Zealand Immigration. The letter reads;

With the opening of the 2021 Residents Visa, most of the immigration New Zealand staff who were processing skilled migrants and Residence from Work Category application are now processing 2021 Residence Visa Application.

This reflects the recent change to the order in which Residence category Visa application are processed. While we will retain a team of dedicated immigration officers processing skilled migrants and Residence from work category, processing applications for the 2021 Residence Visa is a priority for New Zealand Immigration.

As a results, the allocation of your current skilled Residence Visa application will be delayed by at least two months.
