Our client, a freight forwarding company based in Apapa, Lagos is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers

Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • At minimum three years of experience in Administrative and IT Operations/Management.
  • 3 – 5 years working experience.
  • Knowledge of  administrative procedures.
  • Well-organized, with ability to track multiple activities and deadlines
  • Fluency in written and oral English is required.
  • Ability to implement and manage tasks proactively without waiting for instructions.
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office Packages

 

Salary: 80,000 – 120,000
