Two Notorious Traffic Robbers Nabbed In Lagos

Two traffic robbers, Ojo Saheed, 21 and Khalid Oluwole 28 have been arrested by the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command.
Ezenwoko’s Blog learned they were arrested on Friday night, November 12 along the Iyana Oworo to Old Toll Gate, Ketu stretch of Lagos, Ibadan Expressway.
The suspects were in the company of some hoodlums who immediately fled the scene on sighting the police.
The suspects were said to have been combing hideouts believed to have been used by traffic robbers before attacking motorists.
The suspects however claimed they were taking Indian hemp and ICE to stay awake through the night.
Recovered from the suspects were wraps of Indian hemp and crystal methamphetamine (ice).
Meanwhile, some unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits reportedly killed two people in Taraba State today.
Reports reaching Ezenwoko’s Blog revealed that the assailants on Tuesday stormed Rafinkada village of Wukari Local Government Council of the state and destroyed properties worth millions of Naira.
Several others were said to have escaped the attack with degrees of injuries in the bloody attack which reportedly started on Monday night through the following morning.
Residents of the community who reportedly disclosed details of the incident to the Daily Post revealed that the attackers invaded the community when the people were deeply asleep.
According to him, some residents who fled into the bush during the attack are yet to return to the village while the whereabouts of some other members of the community were still unknown.
