Kannywood Actress Sued For ‘Collecting Over N1m And Failing To Act’
A Kannywood actress identified as Hafsat Idris has been sued by a film production firm, UK entertainment, over alleged breach of contract.
UK entertainment in a suit filed before a Kano High Court accused the actress of collecting the sum of ₦1.3 million to feature in a TV series but failed to fulfil the terms of the agreement reportedly signed by both parties.
The film production firm further stated that damages were incurred due to the breach of contract by the actress.
It asked the court to award N10 million as damages, the defendant, however, filed a formal response to the claims through her attorney.
The court adjourned the case for hearing.
In another development, Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has revealed that there are certain things that happen which could allude to someone being spiritually tied down.
The actress took to her Insta story to make some revelations. She cautioned some of her fans who were not spiritually minded to ignore the post as it was not meant for everyone.
The Nollywood actress went ahead to state that if there was anyone dealing with shortness of breath, dizziness, panic attacks and they have done everything their doctor asked but the condition continues then they should consider the fact that it might be a spiritual attack.
