Wizkid Shares Striking Resemblance With Parents In Adorable Family Photos

Nigerian Afrobeat pop music star, Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has taken to social media to show off his adorable parents, with whom he shares a striking resemblance.

The 31-year-old “Essence” crooner via his Instagram stories shared photos of his father, Alhaji Muniru Olatunji Balogun, and his mother Jane Dolapo Balogun. 

Ezenwoko’s Blog understands that Wizkid was born and bred in the Surulere area of Lagos where he lived in a polygamous home with a Muslim father and a Christian mother.

In a radio interview with Tim Westwood in 2012, Wizkid confirmed that his father has three wives.

Meanwhile,  Wizkid has taken to social media to react to a statement recounting how he was hustling and being an errand boy before he came into the limelight.

This came after media personality, Toke Makinwa, in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, while querying the young people of today who want to succeed without putting in the work, recounted how Wizkid use to carry speakers and buy amala for Djs in his early years.
