Australian Volunteer Program is open for Australian citizen or permanent resident over the age of 18.

The Australian Volunteers Program supports an inclusive and diverse range of Australians to share their skills overseas.

If you have skills to share and are an Australian citizen or permanent resident over the age of 18, you can apply for an assignment.

Australian volunteers work in a range of sectors, including business services, community and social development, health, science, engineering and architecture, skilled trades, education and training, and media and arts.

Eligibility/Requirements for Australian Volunteer Program

• Program volunteers must be Australian citizens or holders of a Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
• Refer to the Passports, Visas, and Work Permits section of the Volunteer Guidebook for detailed considerations.

Gather the information you need for your application:

• A copy of your current passport (with six blank pages)
• Qualification details
• Your resume
• Details of dependents (partners or children) who may join you on assignment (for assignments where approved dependents are permitted)*

• Add your details and documents.
• Complete a recorded video interview answering questions about your understanding of the program and your motivations.
