Breaking: Bandits Reportedly Kill 20 Security Operatives, Burn Their Corpses In Zamfara

No fewer than twenty personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC have been reportedly killed in Zamfara State.

Reports reaching Ezenwoko’s Blog today has it that the security operatives were murdered and their corpses set ablaze in Shinkafi Local Government Area of the State.

The deadly sects reportedly attacked the security operatives dispatched to a village where they (the terrorists) have dominated for a long time without any security stoppage.

The bandits are said to have carried out the massacre on the security men in the early hours of Friday. Among the victims was Alhaji Shehu Mallami, a resident of the community.

When contacted to confirm the incident, the State Public Relations Officer of NSCDC, Mr. Aminu Mary, said the state commandant of the corps had already visited the scene to ascertain what really happened.

Ezenwoko’s Blog understands that the security agency is yet to give an update on the visit as at the time this report is given.
