Yul Edochie Tells Buhari How To Handle Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho
Popular Nollywood actor and aspiring presidential candidate, Yul Edochie, has urged the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to employ dialogue and peace while dealing with the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, and Sunday Igboho.
The actor made this known via his Instagram page on Tuesday, where he appealed to the federal government to release the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho.
According to him, the country is already facing so many challenges and the use of dialogue will go a long way in establishing peace.
His post read: “I appeal to the Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho and follow the line of dialogue and peace. A country that already has so many challenges facing it, the use of dialogue in this issue will go a long way in establishing peace and unity.”
Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and repatriated from Kenya to Nigeria in July 2021.
He was re-arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court by the Nigerian government.
Yoruba Agitator, Sunday Igboho, on the other hand is facing trial in Benin Republic after he and his wife was arrested for attempting to flee to Germany.
The Department of State Services, DSS, had declared him wanted after guns was found in his house.
