Reactions As APC Fixes New Date For National Convention

The decision of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to fix its National Convention for March 26, 2022, has stirred reactions online.

Ezenwoko’s Blog earlier reported that the ruling party had announced its decision to hold the much-anticipated convention on March 26 after it had slated February 26 for the event.

The announcement of the new date for the event has overruled its earlier decision to postpone its national convention indefinitely.

It is understood that the new date for the convention was the date earlier slated for the conduct of its zonal congresses across the country.

The party stated that it will begin activities leading to the convention with the conduct of zonal congresses from February 24.

Reacting to the development, some Nigerians took to social media to mock the ruling party for first postponing the much-anticipated event before fixing a new date for the event.
