JAMB UTME/DE form 2022/2023 – This is to inform the public and interested candidates that the 2022/2023 JAMB UTME/DE form and registration portal is now open and ready to accept applications.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the admission to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria for the 2022/2023 academic session.

JAMB Registration portal opens on Saturday, 19^th February, 2022, PIN vending ends on Saturday, 26^th March, 2022.

2022 JAMB Registration Guidelines/Requirements

• For FIRST DEGREE APPLICANTS (UTME): Candidates must possess O’Level Result with five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
• For DIRECT ENTRY (DE) : Olevel result or Alevel Result or JUPEB, IJMB or SSSC, NTC, NBC or minimum credit grade in university/national Diploma or National Innovation Diploma with appropriate Olevel requirements

Jamb Profile Creation

Every candidate would require the use of a unique phone number (SIM) for process of registration. The unique phone number can be used by one candidate only.

Candidate will send his/her National Identification Number (NIN) by text (SMS) to either 55019 or 66019 from his/her personal GSM Number. E.g. write the word ‘NIN’ space and add your 11-digit NIN Number and send to 55019 or 66019 in this format (NIN 00123456789).

A profile code of 10 characters will be received by the candidate on the same telephone (SIM) number

The phone number used for the text message is automatically tied to the candidate’s name ans will be used in all communication relating to each candidate’s 2022 application, examination and admission.  CANDIDATES SHOULD NOTE AND REMEMBER THE SIM-NUMBER USED. IT IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE FOR SUBSEQUENT COMMUNICATION WITH THE BOARD

How to purchase jamb pin (buy jamb pin)

Candidates are to present the 10 digit profile code at the point of procurement of application document (from banks, MMOs, MFBs, Switches, USSD Partners). An ePIN is then sent as text message to the candidate’s phone number.

There are five different methods of buying jamb registration pin 2022. They include:

1. Through the Commerical banks including Microfinace banks
2. Payment through POS
3. Payment through MOBILE MONEY OPERATORS
4. Payment using ATM
5. Online Payment on JAMB PORTAL

How to register for JAMB 2022

Candidate will present the profile code and ePIN at any JAMB accredited CBT Center for registration.

The application cannot be completed until the candidate’s biometrics (all ten fingers) are captured and photograph take physically (no Submission of passport). Successful capture of biometrics and photograph will authorize a candidate to print his/her e-registration slip. CLICK HERE

Retrieval (in case of Mistake/loss) of profile code and self-Service

1. To retrieve a lost profile code, send the word (RESEND) from the same phone number to 55019 or 66019 as a text message
2. Candidates can reset lost or forgotten password on their registered cell phone number by sending PASSWORD space THE EMAIL ADDRESS used during registration from the same number to 55019 or 66019

How to recover lost ePIN after Payment (I lost my JAMB Registration PIN, How can I get it back)

1. If e-PIN is not received or list, send UTMEPIN or DEPIN from your phone number used to get your profile code to 55019 or 66019.
