Omokri Alleges How Abba Kyari Became Super-cop
Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has alleged how embattled Deputy Police Commissioner, DCP Abba Kyari was made a super-cop.
Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that Kyari and other cops including ACP Sunday J. Ubua, ASP Bawa James, Inspector Simon Agirgba, and Inspector John Nuhu are currently being grilled by the National Drug Law enforcement Agency (NDLEA) following the accusation of trafficking cocaine.
In one of his reactions to the ongoing case with Kyari and his team’s men, Omokri said the suspended DCP was made a super-cop because of religious imbalance in Nigeria’s law enforcement agencies.
According to Omokri, most of the law enforcement agencies in the country are headed by Northern Muslim males, sidelining the Christian religion.
The former presidential aide in the post on his verified Facebook page said the likes of Kyari could still be in the police system and are yet to be discovered.
Omokri’s post read: “There is no ethnic or religious balance in Nigeria’s law enforcement agencies, and that is why someone like DCP Abba Kyari became a super-cop.
“The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Attorney General, IGP, EFCC Chairman, NDLEA Chairman are all Northern Muslim males.
“Where is the balance? How is that possible in a multiethnic nation? Nepotism and tribalism made Kyari a super-cop! And do not be deceived. There are other undiscovered Kyari’s in the system”.
Meanwhile, Nneka Anyasinti has emerged as the 27th Commissioner of Police, Special Fraud Unit (SFU), Lagos, Ezenwoko’s Blog has learned.
