Buhari Reveals The Nigeria He Would Hand Over In 2023
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his determination to hand over a better Nigeria to his successor.
Buhari while speaking on Thursday charged Nigerian to be fair in their judgement of his government’s delivery of his campaign promises.
The President stated this at the palace of the Emir of Jama’a, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa II, in the Kafanchan area of Kaduna.
This was contained in a statement released by his spokesman, Garba Shehu.
Buhari in the statement noted that his administration is doing everything possible to consolidate the system for the good of Nigerians.
He said, “we are doing our efforts to consolidate the system for the good of the people because they matter.”
Buhari also spoke on the use of the Nigerian Police Force and the military in dealing with the security challenges in the country.
The President urged Nigerians to develop confidence in civil authority to build a system “free of chaos.”
He added, “Nobody should be allowed to raise an army of thugs to force himself on the people. This must be very clear.”
The President gave assurances of the determination of his administration “to hand over a better Nigeria than the one we inherited.”
