2023: 44-Year-Old Jandor Emerges Lagos PDP Governorship Aspirant

The Convener of Lagos4Lagos Movement, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, better known as ‘Jandor’, has clinched the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship ticket ahead of 2023 elections in Lagos State.

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that the Convener of the Lagos4Lagos Movement Olajide Adediran on Wednesday won the governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos.

The returning officer Emmanuel Ogidi while announcing the result of the poll, said Adediran, who is also known as Jandor, polled 679 votes to beat his closest rival David Vaughan who got 20 votes.

According to the returning officer, 775 ad hoc delegates were supposed to participate in the primary election. However, 709 of them were accredited.

The total number of accredited voters is 709, and Olajide Adediran got 679 votes, David Kolawole Vaughan had 20, and we had 10 voided votes,” he said while declaring the result.

“Having satisfied all the requirements in our guidelines, I want to announce Dr Olajide Adediran as our candidate after scoring the highest votes of 679.

“He is hereby declared the winner and returned elected.”
