137 Reasons To Vote Atiku, I Really Feel Sorry For PDP

In their bid to sell their candidates to Nigerians while discouraging votes for the opposition, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, have taken to their separate social media pages to woo their followers ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Ezenwoko’s Blog reports that Omokri who is a staunch supporter of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to announce he will be revealing one hundred and thirty-seven reasons Nigerians should vote for Wazirin Adamawa in the February 25 polls.

The controversial socio-political activist noted that there are 137 days left to the 2023 general elections, hence, he will be revealing a reason per day until the election day, why Atiku should become Nigeria’s next president after President Muhammadu Buhari.

Omokri tweeted: “Tomorrow makes 137 days to Election Day. God sparing my life, I will provide 137 reasons to vote for the PDP and Atiku from tomorrow. One for every day until Election Day. Join me on this journey of #WhyShouldIVoteAtiku.

“I hope to win your vote for my party on February 25, 2023.”

I Really Feel Sorry For PDP

In a thread of tweets on Tuesday morning, Fani-Kayode who is the Director of Special Media Projects and Operations and New Media, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, said on the bird app that he feels sorry for the nation’s main opposition party, PDP.

Ezenwoko’s Blog understands that the former PDP chieftain now a stakeholder in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was reacting to the current crisis in the opposition camp involving its leadership and a faction led by Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.

This news platform had reported earlier that Governor Wike and his allies including five state governors, were all absent at Atiku’s presidential campaign kick-off in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital on Monday.

Taking to his verified Twitter page this morning to react to the development, Fani-Kayode said: “In the history of Nigerian politics such a brazen and defiant act of rejection and administration of disgrace has never been dished out to a presidential candidate of a major political party.

“I really do feel sorry for them but I guess you will always reap what you sow. This is a clear case of rejection by the people and a gratuitous insult on the PDP.

“May I suggest that they drop their quest for the Presidency and instead go into the money-lending, money-changing and money-sharing business? Goodness knows that their National Chairman made away with enough of it.”

According to Fani-Kayode, the ongoing disagreement in the PDP is a bad omen for the opposition party and portends disaster and shame for them in the future and a crushing defeat at the hands of “our presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and party, the APC, in next year’s presidential election.

“If they can’t command any support in their own rallies why are they wasting their time? Atiku Ibn Dubai should simply give up now and go back to Abu Dhabi. Perhaps he could pull a friendly crowd of supporters there”, Fani-Kayode added.
